HOSTAGE BIRD PAINTING

Trading this artwork with my neighbor in 2005, I agreed to paint a second one. 
The second painting I promised wasn't finished until 2010. Thats FIVE YEARS later! 
Worse yet, I had confiscated the first painting to use for reference and for some
reason refused to return it until I finished the pair. How weird and rude. Geez!

KID'S SUMMER

The last vacation of our Michigan summer. We enjoyed beaches, swings
and stars with family. Miniature golf on the way home, and we're ready for
Grade 4 and Pre-School. Thanks Nana, Papa, Aunts and Uncles!

SUMMER BACKYARD SPLASH EXTRAVAGANZA

Um... this thing is big. It was free. A client sent it home with us. It's as big
as the yard, but we blew it up anyway. Right? It has a motor, so it was up and
spraying within minutes. This is our eight year old doing a test run. I don't
think its gonna fit back in the box.

A bean bag. Hours of fun. The first one was for our awsome nephew for his birthday.  It looked just like this but triple in size.

FLAME TOWELS

No stranger to fire in the kitchen, I am embrodiering flames on dishtowels.
I considered actually burning corners of the towels, but decided not to.

This snazzy set is for Beth and Eric, in exchange for the super-cool banjo lesson.

ASTRO-WEENIE PARTY TREE '09

Vegetables, a jar of green olives, sweet pickles and cocktail sausages on multi-colored toothpicks, applied to styro-foam cone, covered with aluminum foil, stuck to plate with peanut butter. Upon presentation, it didn't seem hilarious as I expected...but I'm not discouraged.

BUTTER COOKIES

December 9th is my brother's birthday. Most of the boys on our Dad's side of the family are born on the 9th. Happy Birthday Matt! Next time I will also take a photo
of the kitchen behind me, which is a complete disaster.
